Who we are?

ABOUT ECOLIBRE

Our Principles: Juntar, Crear, Sembrar, Cuidar

Guided by a woman with over 30 years of experience who chose to return to the land to create a new way of living, Ecolibre was born in a family home — a finca in the vereda Pachacué, a territory impacted by monoculture forestry. This home has become a living classroom and meeting place where city and countryside connect, where collective memories around the act of sowing are shared and revived through agroecological practices.

Our deepest value lies in connection — with ourselves, with others, and with the Earth.
We honor the land not as a resource, but as a living ally that nurtures and sustains us.
We uplift the ancestral wisdom of campesinos and campesinas, honoring their role as custodians of life and memory.

We believe in sharing — creating safe and generous spaces for learning, collaboration, and reciprocity. Every visit, every workshop, every harvest is an act of exchange.

Ecolibre Territory Custodians of Life and Seeds We sow, prepare biofertilizers, harvest, and preserve seeds, cultivating food and community with joy and intention. Caretakers of the Spirit We practice self-awareness through nature, wellness rituals, and agroecological tourism — honoring water, forest, and the sacred cycles of life. Catalysts of Creativity We host creative residencies, cultural events, and artistic workshops in our Casa Taller, a space for learning, reflection, and collective creation. Inspiration for Conscious Food We harvest, cook, and share food in community — giving thanks to the land and to one another.

 Our Call

The call to reconnect with nature and our environment is urgent and undeniable. The time is now.
Our path is holistic — circular, intentional, and coherent — blending the anthropology of food with the preservation of seeds, culture, traditions, and artisanal processes.

Ecolibre invites you to be part of this movement — to sow, to care, to create, and to live in harmony with the Earth.
